When fitting new handlebar grips steal the wifes, girlfeinds or daughters hairspray, spray it inside the grip to be fitted it acts as a lubricant and when fitted it drys like a glue. Perfect.

I would like to respray my engine cases over the winter and was wondering what was the best way to go about it,ie how to remove the old paint, how to prepare the bare metal, and which make of engine paint to use? Any advice will be greatly recieved. Cheers.

Was thinking about buying a set of cobra slash cuts,but am i right in thinking i'd lose the center stand? that then got me thinking......do you really need it??

vmax tyres

Hi. I've just bought my first Vmax, and I'm finding the handling very scarey. I'm hopeing that the very worn bridgestone excedra rear tyre is to blame as it white lines really badly. Can anyone recommend a good set of tyres, or should I stick another excedra on as the front is ok.

My interpretation of the working of the fuel pump relay (Corrections welcome!)

It has two power feeds - Red/white wire from the ignition unit and the green wire via the brown that comes from the main switch via the low fuel warning light.
Speculation - if this bulb is blown it will mimic the fuel sender going closed circuit (when it goes to earth) so I wouldn't expect the motor to run unless you switch to reserve. Similarly if you fit a LED bulb you...

Just a thought, if you were going to use a round chrome air filter and have it coming though your dummy tank cover what filter would you use and were would you get it and what size of chrome air filter???? is there anything you need to do for her to run right?

What screen to put on my bike

Hey guys, I was wondering what screen to put on my bike, since i'm planning on doing some long journeys on mine. Should i go for the original max screen (which im not sure will provide adequite wind protection) or rather buy a larger MRA screen.
