Hi All,

Does anyone use Belgom Alu on things like air scoops etc and does it offer any protection against the elements?
Just had my scoops mirror polished and want some way of protecting them if possible, i usually clean this sort of thing with Autosol but find it very abrasive and the bits get filthy after the smallest drop of rain.

I'm not expecting a miracle cure just a bit better protection, any advice on this or any product welcome.

Being as I can't think of anywhere else to put this I'll start it in general for anyone who's interested.........the nice bloke from UPS brought this to the workshop today............

So had to have a looksee.................

She'll be getting a nice alloy swingarm and a widened...

Must be getting better.!!!! Have been getting withdrawal symptoms,the bikes in the garage were calling !! Having been left alone for what has now been many months, they were in need of a little `fettling`!!! A drop of oil here and a dab of grease there !!! First time I have felt well enough to do anything!! And the sound of them ticking over was so exhilarating
Today has been a good day.!! And I`m on my way back!!!
Hope tlhere`s lots more to come!!!
Still have a sore `bum`!!!...

Jesse James on a new max

Caught a programme last night on Sky channel Quest about Jesse James of West Coast Choppers breaking the hydrogen powered land speed record, in a car by the way. Anybody else catch it? He turned up at the event riding a new gen Max across the desert. Interesting choice for a guy that builds choppers but then he is a total speed freak. He eventually reached 199mph breaking the 186 mph record in a car that produces zero emisions. Facinating programme.

hi Peeps, can anyone tell me if these levers WILL actually fit the max, I have a 1991 with standard masters and levers ?

it says they do, but do they, anyone brought and fitted them ??

Just noticed that a 2008 gen2 max sold on ebay for 12,210 with just over 2000 miles,alright he'd pranged it, but a full insurance repair. Now thats getting a bit nearer the price i might pay.

well had a phone call today it seems theyre paying me agreed value ,found adrian flux at fault so new bike new insurance may even buy a new crash helmet[steady on] ho and dont forget some flowers for wife ok so im a big softy

I did a bit of racing in the past.. Have a look HERE at a mate of mine on Coniston for Record Week...
Shame they stopped them having it on Windemere, was always a good week there.
You wouldn't believe how fast it feels in a boat of that size..
